oh hey there, i'm mal!

I'm so glad you're here and I can't wait to get to know a little bit more about you. I not only want to provide you with beautiful captures of your family, but to also provide an unforgettable experience. I'd love to share more about who I am so you can determine if I am the right match for you!

As you may have gathered, I'm Mallory Jackson, but you can call me Mal. First things first, let's get into how I got here. I graduated from VCU in Richmond, Virginia in 2018 with a degree in sociology. I knew I loved working with people and I wanted to capture their stories. I quickly jumped into photography full time and I am so glad I did! The moments that naturally unfold between families at their session makes my career my passion. I love watching kiddos belly laugh with dad while he tosses them around and the sweetest snuggles with mom towards the end when they're tired. I strive to give my clients something to look back on when their little baby is all grown up and no longer makes the "face" that made them swoon, when their curls turn to straight hair and when their hands lose their little dimples. I want to watch your children grow up in front of my lens and to tell your beautiful story, no matter how crazy it may be!

MY FAV TITLE IS AUNT MAL

While I don't have kids of my own yet, I have 6 nieces and nephews that have my heart. You will see me around the community at sports games cheering my heart out, flying to Arizona to spoil and soak up every minute, and showing up for all of these littles. They're some of my favorite people in the world. I love styling these guys and forcing them in front of my camera whenever I can!
