This is my favorite cake smash for so many reasons! First off I LOVE Chick Fil A. I could honestly eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's an obsession and most of my friends know the answer when asked where do I want to eat. Secondly, I love little Thomas. I had the honor of capturing him as a newborn and he was just as sweet and easy going for that session as he was for this one. Thomas went with the flow and smiled through just about every set we did, including sticking him in a hot cow costume! He is an angel baby and was absolutely perfect for this session.
I had been planning this session with my assistant Jessica since July. We had the thought on the way back from the beach one night to do a Chick Fil A cake smash because we had never seen anybody do one and we both love the popular restaurant. We knew we wanted Thomas to be our model because he is such an easy going, sweet baby but we had to wait until Thomas was one so we took the time to brainstorm in the mean time.
Each vendor that I approached to help with this cake smash went above and beyond what I could have dreamt.
Jessica painted the ONE letters and they turned out adorable!
Candace with Glitter Party Co made the amazing cake topper "Eat Mor Chikin". Unfortunately we were only able to grab a few photos with it because it was the first thing Thomas went for haha.
Rebecca with Little BeBe Prop Shop made the custom red long sleeve onesie with white buttons for Thomas' one year portrait portion of the cake smash. You can also find more of her adorable creations on her Facebook page!
And last but not least, Jennifer with Jae's Cakes made the amazing chicken sandwich cake. She did not leave out any details and I am still blown away with how amazing it looked!!
Everything was perfect and I can't thank the ladies who helped make this happen enough!!
